The woman whose Horoscope appears below was born on 6th May 1948 in Saint Nicholas, Dutch Antilles, in the Caribbean.

The Test is to discover what occurred in her life on 10th September 1994. She was living in Kitchener, Ontario (43N27, 80W29).
The event was one of the following:

1. She married.
2. She went on a pleasure cruise.
3. She obtained a job in a hospital.
4. She received a legacy from her mother.
5. She bought a small car.

THE ANSWER

Venus conjunct Jupiter can hardly be anything else than marriage.
It is the closest Aspect in the Chart (orb 6′).
It occurs in the conjugal Sign Libra.
It connects by Rulership the House of Romance and the House of Status.

The other possible events are ruled out –
2. No pleasure cruise as the 9th House is not involved.
3. No hospital work as the 12th House is not involved.
4. No legacy as the 8th House is not involved.
5. No small car – Venus conjunct Jupiter would be a large car. (Note that Venus and Jupiter are in the 3rd House, not the 2nd. House lines do not represent the boundaries of the Houses but their strongest point.)
